My name is Marie Harriet-Louise and I am a strong-willed woman. You can tell this by my short haircut, my unshaven armpits, and my implanted Adam's apple. And even though I am what some people would label as a "Tough Bitch Mama," I sometimes get scared. Here is a recent example of when I got scared: I was playing peek-a-boo with my youngest child, Anthony a few days ago. This is a fun game that Anthony and I will play for hours on end. It is always so amazing to see a young boy wonder and get excited. And because Anthony is nearly 12 years old, (can you believe how time flies?), he sometimes likes to play softhearted tricks during our peek-a-boo games. (This is where the scare comes in...) It was my turn to cover my eyes and when I uncovered them to scream PEEK-A-BOO! I didn't see Anthony. He was gone! Lost forever! I immediately broke down into a sobbing mess and yelled for Anthony to reappear. It turns out, he was not actually lost, but he was hiding behind the couch. Thank GOD! I cannot go through the process of losing any more children!
Amen.
