My name is Marie Harriet-Louise and I am confused. Confused as to what the typical "mother" does. What do YOU do? What have YOU accomplished? When I bring this question up to different "mothers" in my neighborhood, I usually get a mixed glare of apathy, envy, and sometimes, lust. They never have an answer and usually retort with a "That is none of my business." Guess what sweetie, my husband pays taxes for OUR roads, OUR children's schools, OUR local parks and libraries and fire departments and police stations. So when you are listlessly wasting your afternoons away, it does become MY business. You aren't contributing. You are not pulling your weight.

Amen.
