Welcome to the program that says "yes" to healthy eating and "no" to polysaturated fats. Its "Organic...Yummm" with Roman Stauss.
Open your mouth to something new! Open your mouth to something delicious! I know I say it all the time, but these are the words that I live by. If I see something delicious, and organic, I will pick it up, dust it off, and pop it in my mouth. It connects me to my inner core, my outer core, and my universe. It connects me to mother and father earth. That is the power of eating wonderful, beautiful, ORGANIC, foods and other things you find in our world. Just think of how many things we have in our world that people are too worried about tasting because it is too old, or too moldy, or too dirty, or too red. Its a real shame. After all, how can you really know anything, (or anyone for that matter,) without first tasting it?
Lets take a look at some common mistakes that people make when they try to start eating fresh and organic and beautiful foods. The first, most common misstep is trying to grow your own plants and vegetables in gardens. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. People are not meant to stick thy fingers in thous dirt and blemish thine fingers. Mother and Father and Uncle and Grandmother earth are your constant gardeners. Go out into the wilderness and pluck apples from trees and dig up onions. This is the only way to get true, pure, natural foods. Anything with human intervention is not 100% organic. Here is a great example, I used to have a wife that thought that she could plant her own tomatoes. So she went out to the store, bought a pot, bought some seeds, and bought some fertilizer. When she brought them home from the store, I just told her to pack her things, get out, and to never call me again. Why? Because....where do you think that that plastic planter pot comes from? The trees? The bushes? The skies? Wrong! It comes from the factory where they pump in a million and one adulterants. And guess what... those chemicals will leach into the soil, into the seeds, into the stem, into the fruit, and then into your body. That delicious tomato you think you are eating may as well be coated in fish repellent! Its not going in my body! Because my body only accepts 100% organic foods!
Second mistake people make...and this is a big one. They buy their fertilizer. Whether it is from a store or a nursery or a farm--do not buy fertilizer. I can't believe how many times I say this. Its probably at least 70 times a day. Its how I introduce myself to people, I say it before and after prayers and meditations, I have it as a bumper sticker on my bio-diesel car. DO NOT BUY YOUR FERTILIZER! Its simple. Our environment runs in cycles. That is why the earth gets colder during certain periods of time and why the earth gets warmer during other periods. Mother and Cousin and Brother Nature create and grow and reproduce in cycles. We should do the same. We should be creating cycles in our homes and in our environments. Remember, we should not be planting our own foods....but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be fertilizing our land. For example, I carry a five-gallon jug of my own, personally-digested deposits that I thrown onto the ground wherever I go. I am creating a cycle of what I eat, into what I discharge, into what grows, into what I eat again....and then the cycle starts up all over again. It is all fluid. It is all beautiful. It is all delicious.
Here is another really big mistake that people make when they are claiming to be consuming organic. Its their definition of "cage free," or "free range." People, again, you need to remember this. If a human touched something before you put it into your mouth, or another opening in your body, it cannot be classified as 100% pure organic. Human's are literal adulterants. The amount of chemicals and cleansers and soaps and shampoos that we use on our skin....and then we touch food....and then eat that food. Its repulsive. So if you want to have an organic hamburger- that is fine! Just find a wild cow, kill it from a distance using, and prepare it without touching it with your skin. It's difficult, yes! But is it worth it? Of course! Folks, I had the most delicious, juicy hamburger a few days ago. And it was just delicious. It wasn't like anything that you are going to get at a restaurant or a drive thru. It was nice and juicy and I could actually taste the meat....not the salt and preservatives that they use in super markets to mask the true flavor.
Here is something else that I want to talk about. Its called paleo-organic and it is for true people, real humans, that actually want to be even MORE organic conscious and organic minded. It's interesting and it is difficult, but its rewards are incredible. For example, I know a guy, he's a doctor, he plays golf every weekend, he is going out, he is dancing, he is doing a whole bunch of things....he is also 110 years old. But he looks and acts like a 60 year old. I asked him what his secret was and he said its all about his paleo-organic diet. So what does that mean? Here is the difference. A paleo-organic diet is about even further removing the human factor from how your food is gathered and processed. So instead of gathering wild blueberries and eating them, a paleo-organic individual will dig into the dirt and eat the blueberry bushes root structure. This is because the blueberries and their leaves themselves could have been influenced by human air or other animal interaction. Instead of fishing for salmon in a creek, a paleo-organic individual will swim with the salmon during their breeding season and eat the salmon roe directly from the female salmon's gestation sack, underwater. That way there is no human interference with the metallic hooks and sinkers that are generally covered in heavy metals. It just another way that people are living their lives, and loving their lives, for longer.
You know friends, it really doesn't need to be that difficult to eat organic and to be totally better than what you currently are. Just take a look at me. My body is strong and well oiled. Just like a clock. Each piece is running at maximum potential. I don't have any waste pieces or gears or cogs. And it is all because of my all organic diet. I realized that I needed to change when I was just 19 years old. I was living alone in my second cousin's bathroom, just trying to get by. Then, one day, as I was mixing up some bleach and ammonia cleanser to wash my linoleum floor, I was hit by a bolt of inspiration. I needed to change. I wanted to change. I saw the path set before me... and while it looked rough and treacherous, it was a path I wanted to go down. When I finally came to a few hours later in the hospital, my goal was clear....become 10% organic in 30 days....so I started slow. I started to cut out the non-organic apples and oranges and peaches and started replacing them with all organic, beautiful, and delicious apples and oranges and peaches. Then I wanted to become 40% all organic by 60 days and I started to distance myself from my friends, coworkers, and children who did not care as passionately as I did about turning organic. You see what I mean? It was a long road....but guess what....guess where I am....I am down that road! Oh sure, I have more to go...because this organic road keeps going! It does not stop! But guess what, neither do I! All I did was just take the first step! It maybe hard to start, but looking in that organic rear-view mirror is mighty powerful.
You know, maybe we need to get a little bit honest. Honest with ourselves. If you are not 100% into the 100% lifestyle of being 100% organic, you don't deserve it. And you do not deserve the information that I am giving you. You are not worthy of the facts and figures and life lessons I am imparting. So please, if you don't eat, sleep, breath, and sweat organicism, please stop listening. However, if you do surround yourselves with organic foods and organic drinks and organic animals and friends and family members. Welcome. I am glad you are here. The main point of what I am saying is this...surround yourself with other like-minded individuals. That way you are not being distracted by dissenting opinions and viewpoints. Those are unnecessary hurdles that slow you down and take your eyes off the true beauty of being organic.
Speaking of distractions, lets take some calls.
Kevin from Salt Lake City - if you are organic, please speak.
Kevin- Hello Roman. Yes, I am completely and utterly organic. Is milk organic? I have heard so many different view points on the subject that I have contemplated checking into a psychiatric hospital to help manage my confusion.
Kevin, this is a perfect segue for our tri-quarterly chat about milk, milk products, and milk-related thoughts. Yes, milk CAN be organic. Just yesterday, I had a big bowl of organic milk. I set it on the ground and crawled up to it, just like a cat, and lapped it up, out of the bowl, with my tongue. You see what I am doing here? I am combining the organic substance with actual, natural, life. I am becoming more connected to the organic milk than if I simply drank that milk from a glass or a hose. Listen here, if you do this in your regular life...that is, consuming your foods and liquids in a more primitive way, you will see greater benefits when consuming organic. Its really quite simple. Just like how a baby turtle instinctive knows to run to the ocean once it breaks out of its life pod, our DNA actually has an instinctual, primal memory that transcends generations and connects us to our animal roots. Our DNA will actually re-atomize itself into a higher-performing mechanism that better breaks down toxins, absorbs nutrients, and fights off bacteria once the human starts acting more primitive. This is basic organic chemistry. And I am using the term organic in a way that is synonymous with words like "healthy," "clean living," and "beautiful."
Corey from St. Louis, please open your shell and let me suckle from your essence.
Corey- I aspire to be just like you Roman, but I don't have any bowls in my home and don't have enough money to buy any. Can I still drink my milk?
Corey, let me pose a question, "how are you going to be consuming your milk?" Are you going to do it in a way that honors our past and honors our DNA? Hopefully. Because I want all of us to live together forever. And we can. We really can. By dipping into our monkey and gorilla past, we can and will live forever. If we just drink our milk....and this is so simple, its such a simple step....just like how our primate grandparents did, we will see well into the 50th millennia. If we go even further back and start drinking milk like our land mammal brothers, and before them our fish brothers, and before them our lamprey brothers, and before them our protozoan brothers, and before them our tree brothers, and before them our rock brothers, and before them our space goo brothers, there is no telling how far into the future we will see....because there is no limit on our DNA. DNA is eternal.
Ricki from Portland. Breathe your question into the phone.
Ricki- Thanks for talking my call, Roman. Can I drink my own mother's milk?
Ricki, the milk NEEDS to be organic. If you are organic, your milk will be organic. If you drink it appropriately, you are good to go. If you start pouring your milk onto your skin and trying to absorb it like our ancient sponge brothers, and is not organic milk, it will be for nothing. In fact it might even be counter productive. Your DNA could actually get confused as to what you are doing. And then....out of nowhere, you loose your body's homeostasis and become very dizzy and agitated. It NEEDS to be organic. Maybe that answered your question.
Friends. We have gone over our time today and I may not even be broadcasting anymore. But, if I am, please stay beautiful and stay organic.
